How to grow stunning hollyhocks~easy step by step instructions

Blessings my cyberspace friends. I am grateful you stopped in for a visit. With spring in the air I decided to post this great read I ran accross on how to grow hollyhock flowers. They are such a beautiful and wonderous creation in Gods design. Add this to your garden and praise the Lord. The previous owner of this home I had bought asked me to especially enjoy the plant. His hollyhock was a pride and joy for him. He asked me to take good care of it. Prior to this I had no idea what a hollyhock looked like.  When it bloomed in early summer I was stunned. The majestic lavender/blue flowers were almost the size of a baseball mit. The plant itself was about 6 feet high which was unusal. I lliterally had to stake it up. There were probaly 18 flower buds.

 You can always use the seeds after bloom for next season.

As the Deer Pants for water

As the deer pants for water brooks oh Lord my soul thirsts for you. Psalm 42:1
Don't  you just love the times in oneness with the Lord? There is no place I would rather be. When we go to the place of quietness and rest with the Lord we are in a place of reception to hear the small still voice. It is like all the cares of the world and surroundings have fallen off.  In these times of worship, praise or prayer the Lord is my priority. His love so magnificant I know I am His child and He is love, so willing to hear. He longs for us to cast all our cares on Him. How blessed we are to be a child of the most High God.

If you are dry and thirsty then head to the brook. The Lord waits to refresh your spirit and commune with you. We are so blessed to have a place to go when we thirst. We should not wait until we are parched and dry. Ungodly men long for this place but know not of this place with God. May they come to the knowledge of our Lord and Savior before it is too late. You can not find Him in the world.

Child of God be encouraged. Our Lord forgives us and never leaves us. No matter how far down we may have gone He waits for our return to Him. Call on Jesus, Savior of the world.

You know some times we get cornered and there is no way out. Looking to the world will not solve your issue, care or problem. What we need is a Savior. You may feel so alone and hopeless. I know what that is like. Most important Jesus understands more than anyone will ever understand and loves you still. He knows your pain. He wants to wipe the tears and repair and restore your life. Do not go it alone. When you invite Jesus into your heart it will be the best decision you will ever make in your lifetime. Train up a child in the way to go

In these trying times many parents wring their hands and wonder what can they do to encourage their children in these most difficult and perilous times we live. If parents are not wondering and have a wayward child it is not too late. You can do something. Just maybe it is the time to take off the blinders and open your heart and get serious about the well being of your child. Our children are in a mess and we the parents need to help them in the way they should go.

Our Lord intended for parents to care for the children. Our nation founded on biblical principals has taken Jesus out of the picture. We have turned our back on the Creator of the Universe. Not that we could count on the secular world but we could at one time have support in raising our children based on Godly principals. Today our school system is limited by the fact that God has been taken out of the public schools. It is up to us parents to rear our children in the way they should go.

Our children are the future and many of them feel hopeless in these days. The rise in suicides is mind boggling. I heard a stat just a couple of weeks ago. Out of adolescents 14 to 17 yrs. the leading fifth cause of death in the USA, is suicide. The rise in the same aged adolescents who are cutting on themselves is alarming. This is the heartbreaking truth and reality. Our children are seeking for love and safety, for a sense of belonging.

No doubt there is allot more evil and wickedness prevalent at a young age today than we have seen at any other time in our lives. Parents need to take a stand to defend the children. Parents want the very best for their children. Many of them are at wits ends themselves just to keep food on the table.  Perhaps you are a parent and feeling overwhelmed and concerned about where the next meal is coming from. Maybe you have forgot about how your son or daughter feel. All parents make errors but we can not afford to make this error and not tell them about Jesus Christ.  He is the way the truth and life. Children want love and want to know they are OK. They long for consistent in the home. They long to feel safe and secure. We can try all we want but we fall short. Jesus does not. He is the same every day. His love for us is more then our finite minds can begin to muster. He can save a child and a household. He can mend a broken heart. He can heal a warped mind. He does and He can when we call on His name. He only wants our love. The rest will take care of itself with Jesus in the picture of our lives. Parents are so mixed up today many children flee from home to find something to fill the hole inside of them. It is alarming. There is hope. His name is Jesus Christ.

I encourage you to read my writing posted on hubpages. Hopefully you will be enlightened with the rays of hope found in Jesus. Do not fret, if you do not know Him. Just maybe it is time. You know we do not know what tomorrow could bring so do not be too late. In this lifetime we decide who we will follow. Will it be the ways of the world or the way of Jesus Christ. He is the answer. There is nothing you have done that makes Him love you less. His arms are open for you. He only wants our love.

Jesus tells us in proverbs 22:6 Train a child in the way they should go and when they are old they will not depart from it. Dear parent or grandparent for the sake of your children or children's children get right with God. Get Jesus. Your life will change you will never be the same, your family will not be the same. Trust me I know I once was lost then found.

I pray that God blesses this new year for you and yours with His love and peace that transcends all understanding. Now go and get encouraged.

There is a devil loose. Matthew 11:32. I wonder how many have not come to the resolution there is an enemy, Satan. He is coming against the church, the preachers, families and anyone that stands and is for righteousness. Why is all this activity stirring up in our world? People just do not understand what is happening. The media surely will not tell us, Out of ignorance perhaps so but there are many in media that know the truth. Church we are in the media. We have free speech in the USA, so far. The government wants to control us and tells us they have solutions. It is a down right lie. For years government has been working towards one world order and religion, for control.

The bricks are falling people On 9-11 the bricks started falling. Then America starts building the tower leaving out GOD. We boasted we will rebuild. Although church's were jammed packed fro a short while after 9-11 how quickly we go back to our old ways. 9-11 was a warning sign. If we take a look back into history the tower of bable is very similar to rebuilding the tower in New York City. The people of Babylon wanted to run things thier own way. We know through scripture that did not work just as today in our world our way is not working. The bricks continue to fall. This is nothing to take lightly. Children of God know what I speak. The world can not know because they are not of God.

Never mind the fact that the USA was found on Godly principles. George Washington our first president said our Nation will not stand if we do not keep God first place. Are we in judgement? I beleive so. God tells us he will repair our land if we repent and come back to Him. Is it too late? Will that happen? As it is written  Isaiah 10 speaks of the rebuilding of the tower. Building the tower was a sign of defiance.The people want to run the show themselves and beleived they could do so without Gods help or Blessing.

There was a scripture found in the ruins of ground zero. It was in the collapse. One page was not destroyed. A photographer took a picture. The scripture was come let us build ourselves a tower. (Isaiah 9:10) The tower keeps growing. President Obama went to ground zero and said he was going to add a beam the highest in the world to the tower.  America said, 'God we are going to rebuild." Where is God in this picture? The same scripture used in Isaiah 9:10 is being used today.

Dr. Oral Roberts said before the day of Lord there will  be three separate enmities loosened. They are happening right now in our midst. Dr. Lester Summerall said that an evil enemy would be loosed on some screen. In July 2012 the theater in Aurora went under attack by a 24 year old male. Everyone wrings their hands and says why. This day God is calling the body of Christ to rise above the status quo of church normalcy.

Over a period of time people call evil good and good evil. The enemy has been hard at work to pull all and any away from Christ. Children are driven daily by destructive thoughts by an evil spirit. All this onslaught of evil is to subtle to be of natural origin. Many call this a dysfunctional family, The Bible calls it the Spirit of anti Christ.  Carnal minds that can not know the things of God. There are two worlds one of light one of darkness. He is after our children our neighborhoods. Jesus defeated the enemy, Satan but it is time for us to put our foot down and say no you don't. God has given Children of God the authority.

Church it is time to sanctify ourselves right now. Whatever we bind on earth is bound in heaven. There are too many people opening the door for the demon spirits. School administrators pass out condoms rather then the truth.  What is escape ism? It is not telling the truth to our church, to our society. We need to shout the devil out right now. Instead of handing a slip to planned parenthood we need to take a stand Saints. The time is today. The silent Christian needs to come out and share the truth of God.

The joy of the Lord is our strength. The devil wants us depressed, overwhelmed, and afraid. Where do we get the answer. Well church is a start. A bible based Holy Spirit filled church that does not water down the truth. Get out there in the morning and Praise God, shout onto God and take authority over the devil.  Drag him out of your household. All we have to do is magnify the Lord. He is good and His mercy endures forever. Irrational levels are running high. Praise God because HE is greater then any devil. Praise Him because He gave us power over the enemy. God has not given us a Spirit of fear but of peace and sound mind. In the name of Jesus bind spiritual wickedness in high places. Bind every evil spirit. We have been given freedom in Jesus. As a blood bought child of Almighty God we have been given the victory over debt, depression and our future. We need to oppose every devil loose from us. Sow seed, get into church, fellowship with others. We need to focus our faith. No step of faith ever goes unrewarded by Christ. Focus your faith. No weapon formed against us shall prosper.

Read the word and pray. Prayers are heard from God. Jesus sits at the Fathers right hand to intercept our prayers. Get back into the presence of Almighty God.  Prayer, Praise, Power from the Holy Spirit belong to children of God.  It is time Church to step up and step out in the faith and truth of Jesus Christ.

Is God speaking to you? In the name of Jesus if you heard this word then ask God what your place of service is for HIM and go for it. Do not hold back. Get your house in order and share the Gospel message of salvation. Today is the day of salvation. Precious people Israel was judged by God. He told them if they did not repent there would be judgment. God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.  God is calling His people. He commands we be the light of Christ in a lost world.

We are entering into the 70th week as spoken by the profit Daniel. (aniel 9:24-27) 69 weeks ( around 490 years) have passed and much of phrophecy has come to pass. The 70th week goes into the time of the great tribulation. There is work to be done. May the Spirit of God be on His children as we go bodly into a lost world and proclaim the message of Jesus Christ. I pray He abounds in us today and by His wonderous grace we stand forth in His mighty and powerful name. The name above all others. Jesus Christ.

Jesus is going to return and soon. He will reighn and rule. Children of God are your  hearts ready? Be ready and tell everyone about Christ! With the Holy Spirit of God we can do all things because He strengthns us. It has already been done at the cross. Phil 4:17

The Word of God. Look up Romans 8:28 today. Memorize the verse.  

 

 

 It is time now to take a stand of who we are in Christ Jesus. If you do not know then by all means you need to know. You are a Child of God. Get into a church. One that is Bible based and Jesus teaching and Holy Spirit filled. Not one that tells you what you want to hear. God has given us His written and living Word for a reason.

 He has given us a gift! A huge gift, how to live and thousands of promises for us.  God is the only one that has never nor ever will break a promise. He has foretold us of things to come. Prophecy! We should know what is going on in this world and what will happen to the Children of God. It is time for the silent Christian to step up and out. We have been given the power of the Holy Spirit. I know, and trust me I know it is not always easy, this living thing. Life can be very difficult to say the least. You could have lost much. That is not easy.You could be facing a job loss or have a wayward child or live with abuse. Life is not easy. 

To keep faith we have to keep hearing Gods word.  Humans can all to soon go on how things look or feel rather then to hang in in the faith. Faith takes work. Faith is an action word. Practice, practice and practice. When we do then Gods promise's will become a a living part of us. He is the living truth. If we do not read the word or hear the word then how can we know these things?  If you are saved there is so much GOD has for you. Blessings.

 

The more you know, the more you you can share with others. The more you  unbderstand the more you will live in Gods promises. The light you shine will shine on others. You never know how the light in you might shine on another lost or hurting soul. The times we live are not going to get easier. Not until Jesus returns to rule and reighn.

 We do not need to be afraid. How do I know? Gods word tells me. Jesus tells us how to overcome fear. Jesus has already defeated fear on the cross at Calvary.

 

. I encourage you to get back into church if you are not going. Please make sure it is a Bible based, Jesus teaching church. You will not be sorry. Do not go to a church that waters down the turth and tells you what you want to hear. Lies only decieve and hurt another. There is no gain in lies. Please make sure you read the Word of God. A little each day. You will be amazed how things just seem to change in your life. You will be Blessed. Get up and meditate on Gods word, thank Him and try to memorize a couple of promises each day. You will have something to stand on when the storms of life come at you.

The Latter days and one world order

The signs of the times are all pointing to the return of Jesus Christ. These are also called the latter days and or the end of times. Each generation seems to have believed they were indeed the generation to see the rapture of the church and the return of Jesus. One thing is for certain the great and glorious day is closer and not farther away.

When God breathed the words into the Bible through His profits He foretold what the signs would be leading up to the return of Jesus Christ. No one knows the exact time or when their time is over living on planet earth. Many signs do point to a one world order and time is moving quickly as prophecy unfolds before our eyes.

So much is going on behind the scenes and most of the world is ignorant of the government actions taking place right now, under our feet. Satan is the father of lies. He is the master behind the plan. It is all written in the Bible because God has foretold us of all things. Many that believe do not know about such actions because the govenment does not share the truth. Many because of lack of knowledge. Many think we will be out of here, raptured and avoid the tribulations. I can only pray that were true but we will face some difficult days ahead unless America repents. There is no condemnation in Christ but I do urge you people to get down your Bible and read it. If you belong to a Christian Bible based church go!! Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

Really it is no secret we just need to look out the window at the wicked and evil. What is exciting in these days we live is soon, very soon Jesus is going to return. For the children of God this is good news and we should not fear. God has fortold us all things for our benefit. Let no man be decieved because I have fortold you of all things to come. This is a vital time to hear the word of God. We have eternal life at stake. Many will be decieved when the anti christ shows up. They will truly beleive he is Jesus. It is a lie. He has been given power to do wonders and signs. This will turn many from the one true Jesus Christ.

It is a good thing that our salvation does not rest in our understanding of the end times or if we will or will not be raptured out of here before the great tribulation. God wants us to know when it is at the door. We are to be watchmen. This is why He wrote the events, so we would have warning. 

Many do not beleive eternity to be a place but more like imagination. A popular theory is that all will go to heaven reguardless of sin. Another belief is we will have restitution time to clean up our act. Eternal life is at stake here. If one denies Jesus then he to will be denied by God the father to eternal life and perish in hell. Many will be ignorant of the powers to be when anti christ shows up and other events take place.

How to forgive the impossible

Forgiveness

There are times in our lives that forgiving another who has harmed us or one we love does not make sense.  The flesh would like to see the perpertraitor hurt or maimed. 

 God writes in His Holy Word we must forgive lest we be forgiven. He also tells us that vengence is His.

So how can one forgive what seems impossible?

It is but for the grace of God that we are able to forgive what seems impossible to us. God is the one that changes our hearts. Perhaps you have been wronged or injured in a most heartless  act.

Our Lord understands and cares more then anyone ever will or can for that matter. When we are His children we are made new creatures in Christ. Every thing put into our lives points right back to God.  The enemy of our souls wants any and all of Gods children to go down in His lies.

 

Bitterness, anger and resentment poison our souls.

No matter the crime we must forgive. God is clear on His word.

God never gives us more then we can bear to handle. 

 Gods grace gives us the power to forgive and to let go.

He is in charge and He knows what He does.

In an evil and wicked act my baby sister was beat with a tire iron. Will she live? Will she have a productive life or be a vegetable?

Pathway to Heaven

I have mentioned heaven to believers before in conversation. Often times I will get, 'I sure hope I get there.' I found that to be sad. I have asked if they know Jesus as Lord and Savior and invited Him into their heart. For the most part yes has been the answer. Then they must know they are heaven bound, why the, 'I hope to make it?'

We have the free gift of salvation because by faith we have asked Jesus into our heart as Lord and Savior and confessed Him with our mouth and we have repented of sin. We now have a personal relationship with Jesus. He so loves us and that is why He came so you and I could be saved from death and hell and separated from Him. Salvation is not about religion but about Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus cleanses us and makes us white as snow. No sin is too much for Jesus to forgive. The grace of God covers us and we are blessed and made righteous before God. The desire of our hearts are made new and we are being transformed from sinner to saint. Because Jesus loved us first we too, can love. Our faith is in Jesus and what He has freely given to us at the cross.

  A truly saved person can not stay in a life of sin no more then they could stop a train from rolling down the track by themselves. We are forgiven past, present and future sin. The power in the blood of Jesus transforms us and we are made new creature's in Christ. ( 2 Cor. 5:17 ) We will be a changed person. Some change slowly some quickly, but we change. We will know we have changed. Salvation we did not earn on works and we do not loose salvation based on our works.

No doctrine, no set of rules we follow, no steps we take or experience we have can get us into heaven. Jesus is the pathway to Heaven. John 14:6 Are you on the pathway to Heaven? Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? If not today is the day of salvation. Do not make haste. You do not know what will come of tomorrow. We choose in this lifetime who we will follow and that decision decides our eternity! Heaven or Hell. No one but Jesus gets us there.

If you want a changed life and do not know Jesus then invite Him sincerely into your heart as your Lord and Savior, confess Jesus with your mouth and repent of your sin. Romans 10:9-10

If you said this simple prayer then you are saved and born again into the family of God. You are a Child of God.  You are heaven bound. The angels rejoice in heaven when one is saved. Congratulations! Praise the Lord.

Please get into a Bible Based Church fellowship with other believers is a blessing and encouragement. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17 Get a Bible if you do not have one it will come to you. Ask a fellow Christian to help you to get one. Now please read the Bible and and hang on for the ride of your life. This is your best day, ever! You are saved.

You will know if you are heaven bound. I pray if you have any question this writing clears it up for you.  Ask others if they are heaven bound?  What a great way to tell others about Jesus Christ.

We do not loose our salvation unless we deny Jesus Christ.  Many do not have salvation. They deny Jesus Christ as Lord. They deny God if they deny Jesus.  I believe it is not because the person does not believe in God but has made a choice to say no to God. Inside of every person born is a desire to know of something more then we are. I mean all we have to do is look around to know there is a God. The beauty of creation is wonderous and amazing.  

We do have a free will to choose. I pray the hearts that say no to God are bent to Him, the true Savior of the world, Jesus Christ.

We are an out numbered lot.  We will never know a a greater love. If you want to share about Jesus what a better place to share your faith. You have a lifetime of experience to share to touch other lives. So if you feel a bit low or need a pump up then go and write. There is no better way to get from self when sharing the love.  

So do start somewhere, just start. If you are reading this I believe it is not a mistake.

If you look you will discover a special sign, just for you. God is like that. If you are in Christ then you are His beloved. God only wants our love. He wants to care for you and bless you.  He is love and shows us His signs.

Are you a child of God? There is one way to God the Father through Jesus Christ His only begotten son. Believe in Him. Repent of Sin. Ask Jesus into your heart as Lord of your life. You will me made clean as snow and forgiven. God has a purpose for your life. When you ask Jesus into your heart you are born again into the family of God.  You are saved and have a bright future ahead of you on planet earth and an eternal home in Heaven.  How precious and beautiful Jesus is! He gave His life for you and I. His love so wondrous that He took on all the sin of the world.

If you want a life of abundance in joy, peace, health and prosperity then choose Jesus today. If you want to run your own life or depend on your employer to fill the hole or the government to meet your needs then you will only be hurt and disappointed. Only Jesus Christ can fill the hole in the heart.  No man, power or principle can fill the hole inside. Jesus is the only way, truth and life.

If you do not know Jesus ask Him into your heart as your Lord and Saviour. The angels in heaven rejoice when one is saved from the darkness and led into the light. You have a chorus rejoicing for you. We all have to make the decision in this lifetime. There is eternal life after we pass from this planet. Do not be deceived!! The devil wants to keep any and all blinded to the light of Christ. That is his evil and wicked work and purpose. To lead all and any away from Jesus Christ.

Jesus saves. Know Jesus and Know Peace or No Jesus and No Peace.

Don't take my word for it but the Word of God. John 3:16  Romans 10:9-10

Please take my personal word on this. There is no love greater then the love of Jesus. There is no freedom, until you know Jesus. He saved a wretched sinner like me. Oh, Praise the Lord. He wants none to perish, no not one.  Do you know Jesus? It is not too late until it is too late. Choose life today, choose Jesus.

Condition of the Heart

May the peace of God keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus.

Did you know the Bible considers the heart to be the inner core of our personality?

Maybe in your life time you have been known to have a hard heart. You have your rightful belief and opinion and are proud of it, thank you. Perhaps you are known to have a humble heart or a heart like King Davids; a man after Gods own heart. Maybe others perceive you as a sweet heart or one with a heart of gold. Maybe your heart is hidden from the world. You do not want anyone to know what is inside your heart.

God knows our hearts like no other. We can not hide from God. He can heal a broken heart or bend a hard heart to Him, because He is God.

 Just as there are warnings on health products Jesus gave us warnings in His Word to watch after our hearts.

Maybe a situation in which you were deeply hurt hardened your heart. Maybe sin has hardened your heart. Perhaps disappointments in life have hardened your heart to God.

Jesus Loves you and came for the sinners of the world and died for us so we could have life and more abundant life. John 10:10 

The enemy; Satan comes only to steal, kill and destroy. John 10:10

 Maybe ignorance to the Word of God has kept you from knowing Jesus as Lord and Saviour.

 May the peace of God keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus

I woke with anxiety. Oh I was tired of it having me. In frozen fear with frustrating tears I picked up my Bible. Why Lord could I not get a grip on this illness. I have claimed healing. I have stood on your promises. I know Jesus is truth. I was missing something. Did I have unforgivenss on my heart. No not that I was aware of.

Beloved may God Bless and keep you. If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ then the Heaven doors are not open for you.  I pray to God you do. If  you do not there is hope. Do not be to  late this is a choice we make in this lifetime. Life as we know it is not going to get better in this old world.  The times are not going to get smoother.  It is written and if you are familiar with Bible Prophecy you know this to be true. God tells us to be watchman. God  has foretold us of all things.

I truly know what it is like running a muck on self will and my own devices. God sent His only son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins. The Blood of Jesus cleanses us from sin.  I will not go into detail here on the blog but if you need salvation then at least go and read the hub.  No one wants to perish and go to hell?? Do they? Oh my goodness I would hope not. There are many though that flat deny Jesus Christ and God.

We all will die and go to Heaven or Hell.  I did not write this. The author is Almighty God. The creator of Heaven and Creator of all of Heaven and Earth. The creator of you and I.  You do not know what may happen tomorrow so make the choice today for eternal life and the forgiveness of sins through Jesus Christ. 

 I too was once lost then found.  I am eternally grateful. Peace and

ISM I SELF ME Disease

Alcoholism is a devastating illness.

It rips through the family like a tornado and wipes out all in its path left untreated.

Last stats that I heard were 5 out of 10 were in the diseases untreated.  If you are one that faces this horrific illness in your family with a loved one or a Friend know there is hope. I know what it feels like to feel hopeless. Your loved one is in denial and the merry go round ride has maybe gone on for years and years. No matter how long the disease has ravaged your life I am here to tell you there is hope. Even if there feels like none there is hope. You are not alone and there is one that can help you. Maybe you do not know Him but He is calling to you.  Maybe you feel you have been deserted and GOD is in the background but not your life. I encourage you to please read my true story. Do not give up on God. If you do not know who Jesus Christ is they read my story. He will care for you. He wants too. He loves you. You are in a hard spot but nothing is too big for Jesus. We need to ask Him and seek Him. He comes in when invited. He wants to be in your life. Never Never Give up on Jesus and His Power.  It is for all His Children.  Be encouraged sister or brother.
